Thank you for visiting our site. We are active double reed performers and teachers who specialize in making handmade oboe, bassoon, English horn and oboe d'amore reeds. Our reeds are made with the highest quality materials and are play tested for quality control. Each reed is made to order.
All of our reeds are free-blowing with an easy response, play up to pitch, and provide a consistent dark tone.
In addition to reeds, we also carry reed making tools, new and used instruments and many accessories for the double reed player. We only carry products that meet our standard of excellence.
• Our reeds are all completely handmade. Cane is hand selected and processed on site.
• We have a combined teaching and professional playing experience of 45+ years.
• We have provided reeds for hundreds of double-reed players from beginner to advanced, including adult students
• The pitch of our reeds is stable. All of our Oboe reeds crow a 'C'. All of our bassoon reeds crow an 'E-F'.
